It’s still here

Alright. This site is not doing very well. Who really cares about it? Does it matter? I have no clue about anyone else because they don’t talk to me, but I personally do.

But, it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere or gaining any audience members. I mean, the very last post I made only had three people look at it, and I’m pretty sure one of them was me when posting it redirected me to the page.

It’s pretty sad, and this is the only time it was ever looked at.

I was pretty proud of that one, and the one before that too, but NO ONE IS LOOKING AT IT. Is there a point of making material that never get’s viewed? Sometimes, but a lot of time when some type of media is made it is intended to be viewed and talked about.

I don’t know what to do with this site anymore. I don’t want to give up on it, but I do need a little bit of support from people every once in a while to keep going. A car needs more than just fuel to run.

That’s why I have decided to become as generic as possible for people to relate. If I can write something that everyone can relate to, then maybe I’ll get more than three views where one is already myself. No one really talks to me about it, so I don’t know what people like or want. I need to come up with a surefire way to get noticed that isn’t the original way I wanted and enjoyed doing that was actually pointless because no one even paid attention to it or even seems to care.

Here’s what I’m going to to for the Kris brand:

STEP ONE: Completely change appearance.

Let’s be as general and basic as possible. Let’s not try and scare anyone away with any specific and unique appearance. This includes the appearance as the website, and all the social media. You can see an example using my Twitter pic below:

Now no one will be uncomfortable or taken-aback by any specific feature or defining detail!

STEP TWO: Only talk about topics that other people have already talked about and enjoy.

Why bring up something that no one cares about or hasn’t even heard of? With this new method of writing I’ll just reinforce other people’s ideas and jokes and not bring up any of my own. No one want’s to hear any of that stuff anyway.

STEP THREE: Come up with a witty catchphrase that I can use at the end of each of my posts.

It’s got to be something that’s iconic, that everyone would find humorous. And I can’t come up with any new one myself. I have to use one that everyone has heard before in order to make it relatable.

STEP FOUR: Recipes!

People would read this stuff if they knew they could learn to make something tasty and delicious, right? But I need to make it a recipe that everyone can enjoy, so I’ll make it simple. Here’s the first one:

CUP OF WATER

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Cup
  • Water
  • Ice (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Set out cup
    1. Put ice in cup
  2. Put water in cup
  3. Enjoy!

STEP FIVE: Write a lot more about all this stuff.

If this one somehow gets a lot of people looking at it, I’ll know this way works compared to the way I wanted to originally. If that’s the case be prepared for hundreds more of these types of posts! That’s right, I’ll try and write one every one or two weeks in this format because none of my original thoughts, dreams, or ideas mattered to anyone!

STEP SIX: Have fun.

This is probably the most important step, and I always need to remind myself about it when I attempt to do anything and try to reach out to people. I wouldn’t be doing any of this if I didn’t enjoy doing it. I care about what I do and make, and hopefully enjoy it as well.

And that’s it! If I can just follow these six steps exactly, then hopefully I’ll see the number of viewers at least double what it was last time. Maybe even a couple more than that! Be sure to check this site in the next few days to view the very first post in this new format! If it doesn’t change anything, then at least I’ve got a few ideas for writing while doing this bit.
