Sorry about the mood in yesterday’s post

Also sorry about the late posting for today’s soup

I’ve been spending all morning trying to take care of my insurance and car repair stuff

Insurance is incredibly frustrating and it’s like I have to jump through 100 hoops to get help on my car repairs

It’s taken care of now, hopefully

Not much else I can do today

Also: today is my birthday!

I have a special soup ready for today that I’ve been excited for

Birthday Soup

Birthday soup is very simple, and tastes good too

I think the hardest thing is finding the ingredients, because I went to 3 different stores, and found the last one in the far back of the aisle in the last place I looked

What you will need

• Birthday Cake Ice Cream

If you’re lucky enough to find the last carton of birthday cake ice cream like I was, you will first need to scoop some ice cream into your soup bowl

Wait 20 to 30 minutes

The waiting for the ice cream helps with the flavor anticipation

And it helps it get more soupy

And there you go!

It was the first time I’ve ever made a cold soup, and it really wasn’t too hard either
