How to get back to writing again
It’s been slightly over a month since I last wrote on my blog here. It’s a new year, and a new chance to try and be funny again. Looking back at my previous content I made since late July last year, I realized something:
I am starting to run out of ideas.
I’m even running out of ideas for this blog post itself. I’m just constantly going through different tabs on my laptop in avoidance of writing this. I really want to keep going, but it’s really hard to do this for some reason, and I don’t know what’s happening. I have a lot of ideas for so many other things, but I just cannot write anything at the moment. I hate it.
…I keep doing it. I started writing an hour ago, and I’m only at this point. I just keep stopping to do something else on my computer because I just don’t want to write this.
Don’t get me wrong, I love to write, I’m just really uninspired currently. I have no clue what to write on this blog post anymore. I want to continue this and keep making content, but I’m starting to think that I need to rethink the type of content and plan for this blog site. Last year I posted a photo to my Facebook account every single day for the entire year. That got a bit tough to do near the end, but I completed it because I set that plan for myself.
I am going to make a few promises to all 9 of my readers of this blog, here today:
- More blog posts for 2018. At least one a month.
- Videos. Videos. Videos. I’m going to make more videos for my Youtube channel, and post a link and write an article that relates to the video here on the site.
- Finally finish watching Stranger Things Season 2. I’ve been on the third episode since November, and I just haven’t gone back to finish it.
- More podcast episodes.
If I set these goals for myself now, I will get them accomplished. That is the Kris Guarantee™.
